What The Adventure Project Does
The Adventure Project is redefining how the world tackles poverty. Instead of short-term aid, they focus on long-term impact by creating jobs that provide essential needs and help people outwork extreme poverty for good.
For over 15 years, they have partnered with local leaders across Sub-Saharan Africa and beyond to launch job programs in four critical areas:

Health: Training women as Community Health Workers who deliver lifesaving care to mothers and children.

Hunger: Supporting farmers and irrigation agents with tools to grow more food and increase income.

Climate: Creating clean-cooking jobs that reduce harmful smoke, protect forests, and improve health.

Water: Employing local water caretakers and well mechanics to keep clean water flowing year-round.
To date, their work has helped create nearly 3,000 jobs, impacting almost 3 million people every day. Families are thriving, children are going to school, and communities are building their own futures with dignity. They are positioned to scale to 10,000 jobs by 2030 with the help of funders and partners.
